How to get ranked by Google and other Search Engines easily

After months of researching about SEO, I have come to some conclusions which helped me rank my forum easily in Google's search engine and also managing a good rank in Alexa. Well today I'll be sharing the methods that I have tried and implemented.

• You need to start a blog/site with a nice which you are good at. For example, i am quite good at MyBB, Wordpress, Study resources and some white hat tutorials. So i have started a blog which covers these niches.

• You need to write unique contents for your blog. Any pirated/copied content will make your impression negative in front of Google.

• You should backlink with blogs/sites/forums that are related to your niche. Doing this, makes a connecting between the two sites and hence gets indexed quickly. Eventually, backlinking with sites that are not related to your niche, will again leave a negative mark in your side.

• You need to emphasize on your keywords mainly. For example, in my blog, my primary keywords are "MyBB", "Tutorial", "Wordpress", "Edexcel" and so on. So, when writing a post, you need to insert your keyword at least once in the title, and a few times in the post. Doing so will help the Search Engines to connect a bridge between your site and the searcher.

• Your site should not be complicated and hence should be easy to comprehend. This can be done by adding innovative and good looking plugins to your site. Theme is also a vital part which holds the attention of your visitor. So, to be able to grab a hold of traffic, you need to break down your site in front of your visitors/readers.

• You need to submit your site to Google's directory. Click Here to submit. Hence, Google Bot will visit your site more often and review your contents. During reviewing your site's content, it notes down the Keywords, and later indexes them.

• As we know that most of the internet users are engrossed into Social Networking sites like Facebook, Google+, Twitter and etc. So you need to use that path and turn that into traffic. Make groups/fan pages related to your niche, and invite people to join. Update status and links daily on the Social Networking site and see the difference in your ranking yourself.

• If you want to continue with your site/blog, i would suggest you to get a TLD(Top Level Domain) for you site. Make sure that the domain name is related to your site and is easy to remember. This way, people will be more interested to visit your site.

I know that there are tons of other professional techniques. But these are the one's that I have been trying and using. Well, I am still new to SEO, but my determination to learn new things has turned out to be a great deal of knowledge for me. So thats basically it. I hope to bring in more techniques soon. Till then have a nice time.

How to install a Wordpress Theme

• First of all you need to download a theme of your choice. I would prefer choosing a theme from Skinpress, as this site has tons of wordpress themes.

• After selecting a theme, download it, and save it.
(It will be saved in .zip format)

• Now login to your Cpanel and then select filemanager.

• Then select the directory of the domain where you have installed your wordpress site.

• After entering into that domain, select the folder named,
WP-Content>Themes
(The themes directory is the place where you will upload theme folder that you have just downloaded)

• Now click on Upload, and then click on browse and select the .zip format file that you have just downloaded.

• Once the upload has finished, select the .zip file and click on extract.

• Now we are ready to use the theme in our site. So head on to your Wordpress admin CP, i.e http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin

• In your Wordpress ACP, at the right side, below the Appearance tab, you will see another tab named themes, click on that.

• Now you can see the theme that you have just uploaded. Now click on "Activate" which is present right below the preview of the theme.

Thats it, now refresh your site, and you can see the new them. I hope my tutorial helped you. If you need any kind of help regarding this, just leave a reply here.

Removing a Keylogger or RAT[Remote Administrator Tool] from your PC

For doing this you need to start up system configuration, so start by clicking on 'start' then 'run' and type in 'msconfig.exe'. If you are using Windows 7, then you can go to system configuration by clicking on 'start' and then typing in 'msconfig.exe' in the search box. When you are on the System configuration, you will see a tab named 'Startup'.
Click on that and you will see something like this.

Well for me, i dont have any rats or keyloggers on my computer at this moment. So i am unable to show you'll the exact example.

 So if any of you'll think that you are infected by a RAT or KEYLOGGER, then you will have to look under the MANUFACTURER tab and the STARTUP ITEM tab in the system configuration.

If the name of the item in the STARTUP ITEM tab seems suspicious to you, then check whether it manufacturer is unknown or not. If it is unknown, then it has the chances of being a RAT or KEYLOGGER. So click on it and then disable it.

This is basically the general guide to removing RATS or KEYLOGGERS from your computer.

Stay tuned for more tutorials.

[Extra security] Change Admin directory and links [MyBB]

Well this is a must-do for all the MyBB forum owners in order to protect their Forums being hacked. I had many forums, which were recently hacked due to less security. Changing the Admin CP directory gives you extra security. This is because if someone hacks your Administrator password, then they will need your admin CP directory link to login. And if they dont know the Admin CP directory link, then they wont be able to harm your forum. Ok so lets get started with the tutorial.

Let's say you wanted to change it from /admin/ to /iamsecured/

Open:

inc/config.php

Find:

Code:
$config[admin_dir] = admin;

You then need to simply change 'admin' to what you want:

Code:
$config[admin_dir] = iamsecured;

Finally, go to your Cpanel and rename /admin/ to /iamsecured/

The above step is
very important, you must remember to change the directory name!

You should now remove the admin control panel links from the whole forum to prevent anyone from finding the new link. To do this:

Go
 to your Cpanel again.

Open

inc/config.php

Find:

Code:
$config['hide_admin_links'] = 0;

And change it to:

Code:
$config['hide_admin_links'] = 1;

Now you are secure enough. Leave a feedback if it helped you.
